Quite a change in rhetoric. Previously it was that players were fearing him again and he was still the best. This might come with changed fortunes. Darts is all mental. If that pressure is off him he might be able to relax a bit more. He's won nothing big since 2022. That 2016 form isn't coming back but I wouldn't be opposed to a more realistic MVG winning a pot or two here and there
