Just seems silly playing in that way if thats the case.
it's a 5 day game. They brought in a bonus point system a few years back in the case of a draw. It's rather complicated.

The Home Team used to get the Trophy for a Draw but that just meant they prepared a flat pitch and played for a draw most of the time.
