That’s bollocks about giving up. The mentality has been instilled that they can chase anything down and that they are always in games.
Now I’m not denying some of the shot selections are very gung ho but I don’t believe they give up.
No they clearly give up when the game is tough
What about the final test gave you the impression they were up for it?

Exactly. The top teams have always been attacking but then known when to defend.

45% of fuckitts runs were in 1 innings of 10
62% of popes runs were in 1 innings of 10
Bairstow, Stokes and foakes Barely averaged 20 between them
Crawley got lucky on occasion this tour before tossing it away
Root applied himself only after the brain fart

None of this will win you series.

All will be well once you've smashed up Sri Lanka and the Windies.

My point which you have seemed to miss is that I don’t believe for one minute the players have given up. You are the only person I’ve seen that has put that.
What are you basically saying is that Duckett thought ‘Fuck this I don’t want to try to get a big score, I know I’ll fuck my wicket away as soon as possible so I can get back to the changing room and have a bit of a kip’

A spirited bazball-esque approach by HJ on this page.

But Randall and Hobo's more traditional an measured approach is still clearly more effective.

Thus yet another test goes to the Australia and Leicester alliance.

I enjoy that Randall calls Duckett 'Fuckitt'. It beautifully summarises the culture of the current England setup. It's vital that questions continue to be asked.
