To be expected. Green did get a poor LBW decision which started the rot.Randall wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 7:32 amAnother terrible batting performance from your lotCaptain Hobo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 7:30 amHe's the Vice Captain. Cummins has returned to Australia as his mother is terminally ill.

Re: cricket thread
India get 1 review each Innings for Rohit Sharma, 1 for Kohli, and 1 for everyone else.
They just review anytime they're given out, no matter how plumb it is.

I don't understand why all out decisions aren't reviewed. It's not really going to slow the game downCaptain Hobo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 7:36 amTo be expected. He did review it. As it was given out, it stayed as Umpire's call because this much of the ball was 'hitting' the stumps.Dfc180 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 2:53 pmI don't understand why all out decisions aren't reviewed. It was a very poor decision to give it out, and highlights the problem with Umpires Call. Considering the umpires in this game gave at least 5 LBWs Not Out, where the ball was clearly hitting the stumps, it shows that most of the time the umpire is just guessing and the original decision should have no bearing on the final decision.
They need to get rid of umpire's call for LBW. Umpires don't need to make a decision on the spot, if they think it's close enough they signal for a review straight away. Then it just needs to be decided exactly how much of the ball is hitting the stumps for it to be considered out. Then every decision will be accurate and fair for each team.

Excellent win by Australia. Travis Head's 49 in the chase making selectors look even more stupid for leaving him out in the First Test.
