No perhaps about it for me.

What I'm about to type is purely speculation. I don't have any insider info.

I genuinely think there is a possibility that Hearn invested a lot of money into Benn prior to October 2022 and is desperate for a return on said investment. Hence why he's stood by him so strongly throughout the scandal. I believe Hearn knows they can generate a ton of money with the Eubank bout, which would probably serve as a cash-out of sorts and offer Hearn to recoup some of his initial investment.

Deep down, Hearn probably knows that Benn is going to get found out at World or European level.

I think the fight Hearn would like would be Kell Brook as it is the only fight out of the names I’ve seen mentioned he could realistically win. I hope Brook doesn’t come out of retirement to give Benn the payday. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a boxer as dislikable as Connor Benn.
