I don't bother with low ton plus finishes mate as I rarely remember them

My finishing and setting up at the moment's superb by my standards but scoring's shit. I remember a 126 out and near misses on other ton plusses then mopping up next throw but relying on finishing aint gonna win me much long term

I always go the T20, T18 route, rarely hit the 1st treble let alone getting the 2nd though.

I'm not bad on 19's so prefer that route.

Used to go 2 x tbl20, d13, but missed it loads lol

Ha! When people ask me which is my favourite double I always say I haven't got one as I can't hit any specific one with any consistency.

Hit a 161 for my highest outshot ever, but it was just horsing around with friends and not in league. My highest take-out in league is a 146 by going T20, T18, D16. Now I'm glad if I can hit any doubles with consistency with my shoulder acting up. I played 8 games with a friend yesterday and paid for it dearly last night with intense pain in my right rotator cuff. Got a Dr. appt. next Monday to try to sort it out.

Several years ago I was playing on a team that made it to the League Championship match. The matches here consist of 4 games of singles 301, double in/double out, 4 games of singles Cricket, 2 games of doubles 501 straight start/double out, 2 games of doubles cricket, and if needed a single game of 3 man Super Cricket or 801 straight start/double out.

Our team was leading 9-7 heading into the last game decider worth 3 points to the winner. The opposing team chose 801 and they got the score down to 40 while we were sitting on 170 and it was our shot. They were at their table licking their lips thinking about where they were going to place the City Cup trophy when our best player stepped to the line. First dart T20---it got a bit quieter, second dart T20----and it got even quieter, third dart right in the center of the Bull for the win. Our team erupted as their team deflated. That was the best outshot by a local, under pressure, I've ever seen. If he would have missed any of those 3 darts, I'm sure they would have taken the 40 out for the win.
