Episode 8 then. One tortoise burns to death then another is buried alive. Also a home video (heard, not seen) of a duck being run over. What's happening.Rogg wrote:It's so good. More than but like Brittas before it went off the cliff, there's a depth which doesn't get popularly remembered.Rogg wrote:I have been watching One Foot in the Grave from the beginning again. It's like slipping on an old pair of rotting hedgehogs.
Fucking hell at all the animals that die in it though. A robin, a cat, several unhatched alligators and a snake in the first 7 episodes. Very odd.
Nice. Liz Sladen (Sarah-Jane, Doctor who) has a small part in one episode. She was the original choice to play Betty apparently.Randall wrote:I keep meaning to rewatch some mothers do ave em.

The theme tune is the show's title beeped out in Morse Code (why?!). Fun facts. Give it a watch, mate.
I have the 'New Beginnings' boxset. I don't care very much for the show at that time. Nyssa was most pleasing, however.Randall wrote:Sure I have the dvd somewhere.Rogg wrote:Nice. Remarkable effort. Tegan and Adric, by any chance?
Yes, yes he was. Some of his acting was atrocious. He was so awkward.Randall wrote:Yes, my bloody phone!Rogg wrote:'get an and attic'Randall wrote:Nyssa, get an and attic were very much my era.

Granted adric was annoying but some of the Davison stories were very good.
I ordered the above and it has arrived. An excellent looking thing and it fitted through the letter box. Free postage too.Rogg wrote:This might be of interest to some here...
