It's so good. More than but like Brittas before it went off the cliff, there's a depth which doesn't get popularly remembered.

Fucking hell at all the animals that die in it though. A robin, a cat, several unhatched alligators and a snake in the first 7 episodes. Very odd.
Episode 8 then. One tortoise burns to death then another is buried alive. Also a home video (heard, not seen) of a duck being run over. What's happening.

Nice. Liz Sladen (Sarah-Jane, Doctor who) has a small part in one episode. She was the original choice to play Betty apparently.
The theme tune is the show's title beeped out in Morse Code (why?!). Fun facts. Give it a watch, mate.

I have the 'New Beginnings' boxset. I don't care very much for the show at that time. Nyssa was most pleasing, however.

The original Master sadly died at that time. He was in a taxi that drove off a cliff or something. Absolutely awful story.

'get an and attic'

Remarkable effort. Tegan and Adric, by any chance? :)

Yes, my bloody phone!
Granted adric was annoying but some of the Davison stories were very good.

Yes, yes he was. Some of his acting was atrocious. He was so awkward.

I don't have much in praise of that time. Earthshock is very good tho, and not only because Adric gets blown to bits.

Love the visitation and black orchid.
The BBC always did the past better than the future.
Liked the awakening as well, and of course the caves of androzani.

Network are doing an extreme DVD sale on some old TV shows until September 3rd.

https://networkonair.com/ and click the 'BONKERS' tab at the top right. The complete Tales of the Unexpected is £11.
I ordered the above and it has arrived. An excellent looking thing and it fitted through the letter box. Free postage too.

Another 70 items have been added and the sale extended to Friday.
