The ranking events will be run like the Dutch events to name but one. Entries will close 8/9 days before the event starts, draws will be done and posted on the Festivals own web site pre arrival
Tommy Thompson and fellow EDO officials will be helping the JDO in running the event hopefully accompanied by the likes of Lincolnshires Paula and Del Jacklin
The EDO will be loaning their structured staged set up and stand alone boards for the festival. it is hoped that their will be eight practice boards.
John parrack will be coming over to live stream the event which will be great and we wish to conduct live interviews throughout the week!
There will be no trophies, instead winners will get 'Gold' embroidered and framed shirts for their trriumphs. It is hoped that players will be able to pre-order, available to pick up on arrival, top quality and fully embroidered, and if required personalised Target Shirts as a momento of the Festival for £10 per head
Cost we believe will be £199 for the four nights on a full English huge Buffet style B/B basis, it will also include entry fees into the main ranking events, entry for the party night and free use of the Hotels leisure and Spa facilities (trust me they are amazing) which is literally 15 yards frorm the main entrance
The cost for U11's, could be UI12's will be just £10 per night based on sharing with two adults. We believe extra nights will either be £30 pppn or at the worse £35
I also want to see if we can organise an annual inter forum competition, and not just the UK ones but from further afield as well, where in a four man team event the winners will all get an invite paid by yours truly for the 2013 festival, but that will have to wait until the 11th before talking about that one!
The event will be held at the Merton Hotel, 300 yards from the main shopping precinct, bars and restaurants for those interested check out the web site for the Seymour Hotel Group and see the facilities the hotel offers
Oh yes nearly forgot there will also be an extra £1000 bonus in the mens and £400 in the ladies if any player wins both ranking events

Re: Jersey darts festival
I can tell you now there's been a load of work gone into this and there's talk of an inter forum team event being run along side the main events. Winning team getting free entries to next year's event including accommodation.
