Several boxes of biscuits (from Christmas) are now £1 in ff.

Including a 730g McVitie's mix of general biscuits.

Fox's cookies and Fox's Viennese too, around 350g each.

Was in the self serve checkouts at my local supermarket yesterday when I heard the service lady behind me say (not to me) "You still have to pay for those"

Turned around and there were 2 kids maybe 10 to 12 years old from an Asian country with a bag full of fruit. Both the major supermarkets here do 1 free piece of fruit for kids. The service lady explained they could have 1 each for free but they needed to pay for the rest.

On my way out I saw the kids with their father. Seems like he'd sent them in to get the week's supply of fruit for free.

I am surprised you could identify that it was fruit in the bag.

They have pizza slice shaped wedges of Brie in ff.

I only had Brie once and was sick afterwards, literally ejected it out of my face.

79p, a bargain.

The HUF is a fine currency. The same item is currently in Tesco for £6.50, a sad sight. https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/p ... /254896546
