If your calculations are right. Then 4 kilos would be waste. I don't know hence why I'm asking
Hahahaha, You clueless thick cunt.

So you wouldn't eat the thigh's, drumsticks or wings then?
Of course I would. I read your comment wrong.

Then it seems like my estimation of 30 people wasn't too far off
Thorn....

If you went out for a Carvery and say it was any 2 meats they slice and put on your plate...Would you expect them to stand there, slice it and weight it to make sure you only got 200g of meat?
No. I wouldn't expect them to weight every single portion. But I would expect them to be close to 200g on average.

In weighing portion sizes I don't mean you have to do it for everyone. But if you cook for 10 people you will cook 2 kilos of meat and not 5 kilos!

Take a look at the picture of the 7.3 kilo Turkey again Thorn.....

The label on it states it serves 8-12 people....So lets go down the middle for the sake of argument and say it servers 10 people.

Hey Thorn....

I need your advice....

I have just put a M & S Chicken, Ham and leek pie in the oven for me and the Mrs to have for dinner.....

The pie is 800g, Now how can I be sure that each serving is 200g of meat?

Should I deconstruct the pie and weigh the meat once cooked?

But how can I be sure there is no more than 200g of meat in each half? What if there is more meat on one side of the pie than the other?

A bit of a funny one. This was in farm foods for £1.50. Tis regular dairy milk but they're giving it away now because it says Advent on the wrapper. 270g, bargain.

But then you have to allow for the chef or whoever is serving it to be accurate with the portion sizes...If the first 9 portions average out at 210g then the poor fucker that gets the 10th serving only gets 110g of meat....How is that right?

I bet you are the sort that would strip the paint off your walls when moving house and fucking take it with you.

Also Thorn, How do you account for the weight in meat that gets lost when it is cooking and the meat juices come out of the meat meaning it is lighter once cooked?

Well. I have 2kg meat. I can't exactly weigh out 200g. But I can divide the meat into 10 roughly equal portions. Yes some will get 220 or 180. Live with it.

That's not how it works. 200g is an average serving. You have an above average appetite. Have your steak as you like Dave. No one will condemn you for it.

Maybe a woman would only have half of the steak you are eating. So on average it works out to around 200g
