i remember shearer saying fergie spoke to him and said 'if you had of came to us, you would have more trophies'. shearer replied 'so would you'.

As much as I admire Shearer he was/is an arrogant twat & a terrible Captain, I remember at a World Cup or Euro's, ing-ur-lund being beat

the players were all lying around the pitch gutted & Shearer just walked off the pitch, other Captains go around & rally their troops but not big Al
