Oh, I could tell you some stuff about the JW's. In a brief moment of weakness, my family joined them when I was 14. It was the worst year of our lives ultimately. I have retained a great deal of knowledge about them.

No but when my mum, brother and me left and my Dad still wanted to stay, the elders of the Kingdom Hall told him that he would have to leave us. The elders at the time included my mum's sister and her husband.

The mormons are just as weird.

About 30 years ago the had a bigrecruitment drive on in Ireland and my dad invited them in to the house, to chat with them.my father would always be playing mind games.
After a few visits and with my dad pretending to be really interested they offered him a job in salt lake ciity.he obviously never took it but was curious to see how far it would go.

On aside note, the mormons pay a large percentage of their income to the church every week. The upside side is if you lose your job they willfund you til you get another and can contribute again.
Hence how the rich members like the Osmonds (donny and marie) kept the church not only afloat but worth a mint.

Its more a credit union than a religion

Would be intresting to get your thoughts on how they recruit new members?
I do feel sorry for the children who are basically brainwashed from birth into the religion.
