not at all, the bit in bold is talk about it as much as you like without real venom and hatred in the way you talk about it. a large portion of the people "talking about it" on social media couldnt care less about the darting side of it, they just hate trans people and will latch on to any thread that allows them to further and spread that hate. by all means have a rational pleasant discussion about whether a boilogical male should be playing female darts or any other female only sport.oche balboa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 11:18 amI love this comment. every facebook post full of bald 40 odd year old men with a car or motorbike as their cover photo absolutely seething at any mention of noa.
At the end of the day the bit in bold is code for "Stop talking about it"

Nope. People don't want Transwomen playing in womens sports. It's not hating on trans, It's protecting women and their spaces. Darts is lower grade compared to Swimming, Cycling etcMalanax wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 12:02 amnot at all, the bit in bold is talk about it as much as you like without real venom and hatred in the way you talk about it. a large portion of the people "talking about it" on social media couldnt care less about the darting side of it, they just hate trans people and will latch on to any thread that allows them to further and spread that hate. by all means have a rational pleasant discussion about whether a boilogical male should be playing female darts or any other female only sport.oche balboa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 11:18 amI love this comment. Re: De Graaf and Zijlstra quit Dutch national team.
i completely agree there is a debate needed as to transwomen playing in womens sport. it is hating on trans when most of the comments on social media start with "fucking freak" "freak in a dress" "bloke in a dress" etc etc. thats not people hoping to protect women, thats people just wanting to hate on trans womenoche balboa wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 12:10 amNope. Problem is when people raised objected its people shouting Transphobe which kills the debate unless the person who raised it is headstrong. There are a group of 20-30 German/Dutch men who are doing this all the time. Because "It doesn't effect them"

i agree anyone raising a genuine well thought out objection shouldnt be labelled as a transphobe and should be allowed to debateoche balboa wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 12:40 amThere does need to be a debate.Malanax wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 12:18 ami completely agree there is a debate needed as to transwomen playing in womens sport. it is hating on trans when most of the comments on social media start with "fucking freak" "freak in a dress" "bloke in a dress" etc etc. thats not people hoping to protect women, thats people just wanting to hate on trans womenoche balboa wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 12:10 amNope. Two men actively laughing at a woman while she tries to explain exactly how she is inferior to them. There's layers.
