Lakeside 2024 Ticket Sales

Post by Addicks Fan » Tue Mar 05, 2024 2:08 am

I wouldn't normally start this one this early, and maybe it won't need its own thread, but tickets have been on sale for almost three months now. And this is how sales are going:

		Sold	Value
Fri Eve	149	5890
Sat Aft	196	6360
	Eve	279	9905
Sat	All Day	54	4050
Sun	Aft	33	1080
	Eve	41	1400
Sun All Day	6	450
Mon	Aft	14	395
	Eve	36	1076
Tue	Aft	5	150
	Eve	13	376
Wed	Aft	22	660
	Eve	25	746
Thu	Aft	36	1070
	Eve	93	2776
Fri	Aft	81	3110
	Eve	209	8535
Sat	Aft	291	8640
	Eve	481	17250
Sat All Day	119	9055
Sun All Day	512	37390

Total 2516	120364

The financial amounts will probably be an overestimate all the way through, as they are adjusting their pricing on individual tables as they go along, and I will only calculate from the latest price on the website. And the prices have already gone up. Still, they've sold a fair amount of tickets at this stage, and banked a sizeable sum already. I'll update every now and then as we get nearer the event.

Not a bad start. I think the numbers will be better than the previous year

Any clue why that first sunday is going so slow compared to the saturday? They should really drop the afternoons on weekdays, they hurt the product to much. Adding the Friday evening at the start will make them a nice buck. Also getting the word out earlier that Lakeside has begun so that people maybe can get tickets for the weekend.

Think they'll find it hard not to with how early tickets went on sale.

Tournament would drag on way too long without the midweek afternoon sessions though surely

2 players sounds about right, first to 100 sets.
