I'm confused. The 95 UK Matchplay, where Priestley did indeed beat Taylor, was in April 95 from what I can tell, and this challenge match was in March. Yet the article says the Matchplay had already happened.

Does it have something to do with the Challenge match not being broadcast live and shown at a later date?

I thought that at first but if you read the more recent posts it turned out that the UK Matchplay date was wrong.
