Was that at Feethams?
Yep. Loved that place. Worst thing we ever did leaving there
Only went once for a pre-season friendly with Boro. Was a small crowd but was really impressed by the place.

The arena was a great stadium just a bit on the large side for a 4th division side

Aston Villa vs Shrewsbury 1987, Ended 1-0 to Villa with a late goal from Tony Daley.

I ended up with the shits very badly for 3 days after it, My 2nd visit to Villa Park was for the UK Open qualifier finals and stupidly I had food there and ended up with the shits again.

I should add that my Uncle (not paternal) bought me the Green and Yellow United kit during the mid 90’s

I understand the reason behind it but what an awful kit

I should have reported him for child abuse

I obviously didn’t know better
Having said that, it’s got to be up there with one of the worst United kits
Along with the weird grey and blue one where they changed shirts at half time against (I think) Southampton?

Yeah 3-1 defeat, united lost 6-3 the season after there as well, the Dell was horrible.

Last season my son asked for a green away top, looked shit and I'm not sure how many times united even played in it.

Don’t know why but I always think of Ronaldo when I think of that green kit
