Not the sexiest player, but always likely to be up there among the best of the Class of 2024. Since he had very little game time in 2023, petition to add Perez to this list?

I will keep an eye on him. He has won 5k this year. He won 3k last year.

These 4 are going great. As they are all top 96 now in the main OoM, they get a bye into R2 of the UK Open. That's worth another 1k minimum.

Unless stated otherwise, Baetens has missed that cut on countback.

6500 Steve Lennon (+1250 ET)
5500 Berry van Peer (+1250 ET)
5500 James Hurrell (+1250 ET)
5000 Mario Vandenbogaerde

If/when Lewis pulls out does the bye happen in the 2nd round or does Baetens move up into round 2 and the bye is round 1?

I'd need to check. I believe the 'bye' will effectively replace Lewis' name in the draw.

Early days but I think Lennon, Mario and van Peer are a lot more likely to continue their success on the tour (in terms of regularly cashing) and get comfortably in the Worlds where as I think Hurrell will fall back into the pack

PC Tour averages of the players who started on zero and are still on zero.

Klaasen is now completely bottom, apart from the guy who hasn't played. He's not miles off though. He's lost two games 6-5 with a 91 average.

90.18 Martijn Dragt
88.78 Jeffrey de Graaf
88.39 Robert Grundy
88.21 Jelle Klaasen

We know Jelle is a solid player however I predicted him not to keep his card.

Or not. If Lewis withdraws before the draw is made, which he presumably will, then maybe everybody does get bumped up one place to fill in the hole.

3.6 If a player withdraws from a Premier Event before the draw for the Event has been announced by the PDC, the next highest available non-qualified player from the Order of Merit through which the withdrawn player qualified will be invited to participate in the Event. In this instance, the players ranked below the withdrawn player will all move up one place in the seedings, if appropriate.

PDC will do what they want. I don't think they can comprehend their own rules let alone any common sense

Would there even be a bye in Round 1 or will they just put the 9th Challenge Tour player in instead? Would rather that

The next ranking event is the UK Open.

5 players relevant to this thread won a bye into the first prize money round which is a good achievement for a new card holder.

Second Round
James Hurrell v Croft/Borland
Berry van Peer v Maik Kuivenhoven
Jacques Labre v Steve Lennon
Andy Baetens v Claydon/Lovely
