It’s my opinion on Dads Army. I know people who love it but I’ve never found it funny, although I will admit to liking the episode with Fred Trueman in.

I will add that I don't think it's rammed down people's throats like other comedies are. I adore Fools and Horses, but given the number of times it's been repeated over the years I could happily never watch it again.

Phoenix Nights is underrated because Kay didn't want it repeated often so as not to take the shine of it (as happened with OFAH). Thus not as many people have been exposed to it.

Also, many people dislike Kay as a person and his stand up, and are probably reluctant to give it a chance by consequence.

I personally rate as one of the best TV shows ever made.
