He wrote "in so einem Alter", but I think there's an implied "jungen" in there so I think it should have been translated as "at such a young age".

He just thought he was taking the piss with the route he took on the 147. To some degree I think he's right as I don't think he'd have done it against better players, but it was already-classic Littler to favor route with a bull.
