I would have thought Lauby would stay in the UK and play Q-School here given he is playing and entered in a load of ADC events.

You never know....You might see one or 2 of us from here there too Alex. 8-)

I won't be making any predictions on players until after Q School. IMO 2024 season starts from there

Barney to make it to at least the quarter final of a televised major and it being enough for him to carry on for another year.

A player currently in the top 32 o.o.m to announce retirement.

A new name winning one of the majors.

A player being assaulted or injured during a walk on in a PDC event.

Johnny Clayton or Peter Wright to miss out on the Premier League or refuse their invitation. (Yep)

Stephen Bunting to make it into a major final.

At least 6 new/first time tour card holders coming from Q-School.

No chance he wins a major let's be honest

He has to qualify for them in the first place
Perhaps because he's a 16 year old who has just made the QF stage at Ally Pally? And also averaged over 105 in two of his games?

Nobody in this thread has predicted he will win a major either.

Who would you prefer be hyped in this thread? Mitchell? Schlichting? Kovács?
Good call mate.

Will do a proper tour card winner list when the entries are released, likewise when the tour cards have been allocated I'll do a full Worlds qualification list based on this year's criteria

MvG to be the big dog and win 3 Premier titles, Michael Smith and Rob Cross 2, Dobey (a ranking one for him this time), Cross, Humphries and Price to win the rest, with England winning the World Cup for the first time without Taylor

Littler, Rock, Dimi, Ross Smith and Scott Williams to reach a final of a Premier event, Littler to win a World Series title having missed out on Prem selection (he'll also win 2 ProTours and a Euro Tour)

I was going to suggest Littler gets into the top 32, but if he starts off on a hundred grand with nothing to defend, that's not much of a prediction! Top 16 for him (he may be there in 3 days!), same as Rock, Scott Williams to enter the top 24. They will be joined in the top 32 by Pietreczko (obviously), Joyce and Gian van Veen. Doets will end up not too far away, Hempel to rise up the ranks, Rowby-John and Soutar won't rise as they're defending a lot, but they will maintain their current spots in the rankings. Bunting to flatter to deceive again, being 'on form' for much of the year, but winning fuck all and being in about the same spot in the rankings. Noppert, Clayton, Dirk and Wade to fall fairly sharply in the rankings, Kuivenhoven, de Zwaan, Burton, Klose and Sedlacek to keep their cards, King, Gawlas, Vinny, Slevin and Edhouse to lose theirs, staying loyal to Mensur, he keeps his unless he stops turning up to events. Whitlock and White will be threatened, though they won't fall through the trap door quite yet

In EU Tricole will job out of getting a card again but Klaasen will get back on the tour this time. Kist will get through easily as well.

Think the mid carders will be relieved that Boulton, Scutt, Pilgrim and Kist didn't make it. They'll be among the favourites on the Challenge Tour, but as Boulton knows only too well, you have to be really consistent on that tour to be able to play the entire ProTour

Now i will make predictions

PDC

- MVG will win the Premier League but no other TV title (Not including the World Series stuff)
- Humphries will have an excellent season but will suffer a 1st round exit at the World Matchplay
- Littler will not win a pro tour but will qualify for the Matchplay and WGP. He will do well in all but not reach a final(of a major) but will do enough to reach the top 16
- Price will do nothing apart from win a few pro tours
- Baetens will have a good first year where he will get to the Worlds and 3 other TV tournaments (One of which he will have a deep run)
- The Euro Tour criteria will make the Euro Tour stale of which Porter will tell everyone they are a keyboard warrior
- Gian Van Veen will have a fine season with a deep run in the UK Open
- Gilding will not make a good defence of his UK Open title, Will be stuck on an outer board and largely forgotten as he loses to a rileys qualifier in the last 64
- Wales will again win the World Cup of Darts
- Peter Wright will slip down the rankings further as fathertime will catch up
- Steve Beaton will have a good final year on tour
- A former PDC Tourcard holder will go to jail
- Ian White, Mervyn King, Ryan Meikle, Mensur Suljovic, Mickey Mansall, Madars Razma, Jermaine Wattimena & Luke Woodhouse will have poor years resulting loss of Tourcards for a few of them
- Jose De Sousa will drop out the Top 32
- Fallon vs Beau will finally happen on TV and Fallon will beat her in the Matchplay final
- Porter will continue to move the sport towards an elite tour

WDF

- Plaisier will be World Number 1, Matt Edgar into the top 10. May of the TC dropouts will play in more of these events. World Title will be won by one of them (Connor Scutt?)
- World Masters will be played in October and it will be decently attended with over 250-350 entries. There will be a shock winner from Netherlands
- World Championship will have a better sellout rate then 2023, Again WDF will fail to get on TV (early stage) but improve the Social Media and World Championship output with help from Matt Edgar & other youtubers.
- More tournaments will be created in new countries
- Beau Greaves will again win the World Title

World Seniors

- Phil Taylor will not pick up any titles in his final year, However he will play Martin Adams in Blackpool
- Leonard Gates will not dominate as much as 2023.
- Mark Dudbridge will win one of the TV titles. Darren Webster will get to the final of another as well
- A 5th TV event will be created in Netherlands
