Rules

1. Same as last year the 50+ post rule will remain. You must have made 50+ post in the last year from the first Dart thrown it that comp.

2. In the event of the winner of the comp not wanting the prize or not being eligible the prize will move down to next eligible person.

3. In the unlikely event of a tie in a Prize comp the winner will be decided by Countback ie most points from final backwards.

4. If you finish in a position where Points are on offer but haven't made the required 50+ you will not receive Points and they will move down the table.

There will also be a yearly table for PCs.ET, CT, DT and Women's Series this year.

Will those not making the required 50+ posts outside of comp posts be excluded from taking part in the comps so that all those eligible will not lose out should they finish in comps below said members?

Well I make it that you have made 200+ posts in non comp related topics so you should be included but that is not what I am getting at, Its the freeloaders that try and win darts and prizes that are not any active part on this forum yet seemingly allowed to take part in all the comps.

Nope...Rules have been for a while now that a minimum of 50 posts non comp related in a year have to be made by a poster in order to be able to receive prizes from comps, Last year 2 members stood out as not doing this yet still entered comps taking points away from those that abided by the rules.

The Fantasy Darts concept back in 2020 looked like a lot of fun, where you pick a squad of players of different values, with transfer windows etc...

Did it end up being too much work to organise?

It was a mare to do mate especially the majors.

Plus it was when I only did Majors as comps. I literally couldn't do both at the min.

I did offer before (Think it was 4 or 5 years ago) to run a comp and provide some prizes for it but there was not much interest or any of the mods saying it was ok to do so.

I would be willing to run a bit of a different comp for something like the Matchplay and provide some prizes for it as a way of getting rid of some sets of darts and equipment I have that has never been used, I would look at providing 3 or 4 prizes with various things included...I could easily sell the stuff or donate it to a youth academy if no interest again.

Perhaps an idea for the future when points are awarded for highest finish in a match, Instead have the match with the combined highest finish?

I attempted a few of these but my incredible skill of fluking the forum got in the way.

Don't know if Safc uses spreadsheets for the comps they run but especially for a Fantasy comp that will make it a lot easier.
