Wim is another of these extremely sensitive types who have infested darts. Like most "journalists", and I do use the "" strongly because writing for darts world is not journalism, they're all Frank Spencer type soft lad mummys boys who probably still piss the bed. That meltdown was extremely tame for Wim's types. They do not like being challenged.

This also accurately describes the type of characters who post on Reddit.

I have stated my opinion on this. Even if Reddit might not be a great platform overall you can find good sections of it. I don't see a problem with people passionate about darts coming together to discuss. It's good to be able to share your achievements with others or ask for advice. Most people realistically won't go on darts forums to do that in 2023. Easier to use a site like reddit where they can follow a few different subs that align with their interests. It doesn't mean they all piss the bed.

Tbf MVG has played in front of some right cunty crowds and been fine. We've definitely seen a bit of mental fragility from MVG in the last few years but it's nothing to do with the crowd

I have stated my opinion on this. Even if Reddit might not be a great platform overall you can find good sections of it. I don't see a problem with people passionate about darts coming together to discuss. It's good to be able to share your achievements with others or ask for advice. Most people realistically won't go on darts forums to do that in 2023. Easier to use a site like reddit where they can follow a few different subs that align with their interests. It doesn't mean they all piss the bed.

But I can't imagine the darts reddit being one of them. The F1 reddit is horrendous for example. I can imagine they attract the same sort of person, which I described above. Darts Twitter and F1 Twitter certainly attract a similar type person.

Maybe. Cross was superb though, MVG used to get whistled a lot and it didn't faze him

Well it's mostly about playing darts, asking for advice, posting your 180s or the new darts you bought. I'm not really fussed about a lot of that, I mainly follow it for pro darts discussion. But still just because I'm not interested in all the content it doesn't make it wrong.
