Tbf if Winstanley, my Biscuit and Kong could get there or thereabouts slightly later on, plus Richard North in an even later era, then Montgomery to be in the late 20s in 2010/11 doesn't seem that implausible imo.

He might have made a brief appearance in the top 32.

But he wouldn't have lasted long there. Neither would he have a sniff at the top 16.
