In the Players Championship he won, he beat a quite impressive collection of people for 2008.thegentle wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 3:21 pmRemember him from the World Grand Prix in 2008, just assumed he took one of the Irish spots, but he qualified the 'proper' way. Then played at the Worlds later that year (and of course the Players early the next year back when it was played in February), but then fell off the face of the earth, the original Richard North before Richard North was a thing

Of course the standout name nowadays back then wouldn't have been the standout of that bunch!Rogg wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 4:05 pmIn the Players Championship he won, he beat a quite impressive collection of people for 2008.thegentle wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 3:21 pmRemember him from the World Grand Prix in 2008, just assumed he took one of the Irish spots, but he qualified the 'proper' way. Re: Name a forgotten darts player
Thanks for the welcome. I saw Walls on the television in the 80s and thought to myself, "This bloke looks good, he could be the next big thing in darts". Clearly I was wrong as there's not been sight nor sound of him on the box in the 35 years since - very little information about him on the internet, hope he's still around.
