Even though though this episode is nearly 10 years old, this clip was doing the rounds on Twitter this week.

Not seen Chicken Run for ages.
Didn’t you post that they’re making a sequel?

I did. Coming out this year, 23 years since the first one.

This was the first time I'd seen the first film. It's surprisingly dark. What can you say? It's the Holocaust with plasticine chickens.

If you ever do watch from season 4 onward. The show peaked in the 2000s imo.

Of course Family Guy peaked in 2003 and 2004. Those were its best years.

I enjoyed Chicken Run as a kid.

Not sure if it would hold up today.

Season 4 onwards, gotcha.

I have seen a chunk of the South Park film now I think about it. Is that typical of the general show? I liked it I think. The teacher was funny.

I prefer the seasons in the 2000s to the film/very early seasons.

But aye, I would say the film is quite typical of the show from what I recall.

The film is a masterpiece and the overall message still holds up today.

Essentially a few naughty curse words aren’t going to hurt anyone but actual violence will.

America loves to censor the F word but they’re happy to let people roam around freely with guns.

Still reads true to me in 2023.

Season 5 had some great episodes:

Scott Tenorman Must Die
Cartmanland
The Entity
Butters' Very Own Episode

I loved that Season. The only problem with Butters' Very Own Episode is that 2 of the 3 'murderers' were actually innocent.

Gary Conduit and? (Conduit being one of the very few Parker and Stone felt bad for mocking)
