Dan Dawson overrates this to hell

The ET in principle is good and it's obviously proper darts

But aside from 2019, it's felt really samey. "Same 8 players etc"

Just look at 2017 for proof

Young MIghty Mike's revival sort of coincided with the launch of the European Tour. He has won 36% of them.

Pity the PDC canned their photo galleries when they upgraded their website.

This may be all that survives of the very first Euro Tour event. Plants! Little flags!

See how the first ET event of 2013 was in the UK. At Butlin's Minehead no less.

Does anyone remember if that was streamed? I have a feeling it wasn't for some reason. I'm not sure if they streamed the 2012 ones either.

I do remember watching Philth beat Jamie Lewis in Gibraltar later in 2013.

Edit: Seems from the link it wasn't shown live. I wonder if the highlights ever materialised?

TV Coverage
The PDC expect to be able to offer highlights from selected games in www.LIVEPDC.TV following the UK MAsters event.

I don't know when live coverage started for the ET. I could probably find out if I hunted hard enough. Maybe the Gibraltar one you mention was the first?

Here is one note on 'TV Coverage' for the 2013 UK Masters, confirming no live coverage:
