Probably not but you have to set some rules. I wouldn't mind if they just randomly invited whoever they wanted really. It's an exbo.

It's likely that Jules would be up there on the regional tour if he didn't have his card. For me he's earned the right by having the card. He's had some good performances this year, admittedly the last 5 games aren't great reading but had a block before that of good performances

In general for the smaller countries that may have only 1 tour card holder a qualifier could be held for the 2nd spot, USA don't really have to do that because of the tour but Portugal for example could. Jose's partner last year was genuinely terrible, there's a few Portuguese players out there who could average mid 80s

That's how it works usually, there is a qualifier

Tricole and Bellmont pick up their first wins on tour so I suppose that confirms them for the World Cup

Well that's still solid. Baggish is a nice person and a very good player. Last year he was coming back into form definitely one to watch.

I presume this means the Yanks will take the best player from the last 20 events then? Who would that be at the moment, I guess Baggish?

The Swiss were poor last year, but Bellmont is a decent player, him and Junghans should be good this time around. Just the one win for Tricole, and just 2 so far this season for Labre meaning they lag behind Sweden and Finland in the race for the top 16, there are two Swedes and Finns in the Euro Tour this season (Kantele is at 2), but the two Frenchmen have the ProTour and ET qualifiers to come

There’s so many mediocre teams who will fancy their chances this year to get a win at the minimum, I think whilst each team getting 2 matches means we’ll see a lot of pure muck for the long term it’ll be good

I happen to think getting into the top 5000 players in the world is a great achievement and makes you a great player.

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

Current OoM: https://champdarts.com/main-tour/order-of-merit/

Baggish at the mo and Jacob Taylor for Canada. A rolling table is in use by the sound of it and the next tour weekend is in May which is the cut-off.

It’s going to be Campbell and Smith. The guy in the tweet said that’s what they do anytime there hasn’t been two card holders. There’s only 1 USA card holder which is why they then go to the CDC OOM. There’s 2 Canadians with cards so they don’t have to do that,

Wake up guys

I have spent so much time praising the non card holders in every walk of life that I don't know who have cards anymore

Thanks Malt

Campbell didn't play like a tour card holder yesterday, so you'd be forgiven for thinking he wasn't!
