The Scandanavia post there is complete gibberish
Kantele has already made at least one ET event, maybe two already
He's 100% playing in the World Cup

Very curious that they got taken out after such a good display, even after they expanded the tournament the next year. I get Croatia isn't the biggest market, but still, clearly there is a decent appetite for darts, whether soft tip or steel tip, which quite simply doesn't exist yet in some of the bigger countries, so I'm happy to see them back after long last
PDC only care about their shiny shiny gold. Why would they invite Hungary otherwise who have been shite every year. Greipel will be seething when they lose to Bahrain this year.thegentle wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 12:30 amVery curious that they got taken out after such a good display, even after they expanded the tournament the next year. I have to give credit to the Hungarian fans, they keep watching even though there's been so little to cheer about for them for so long, I can only assume if and when Hungary do develop a half-decent player, it'll be huge over thereThe Thorn wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 12:34 amPDC only care about their shiny shiny gold. I think they are excited that they have something to watch. Colour TV was only introduced in Hungary in 2014.thegentle wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 12:53 amI have to give credit to the Hungarian fans, they keep watching even though there's been so little to cheer about for them for so long, I can only assume if and when Hungary do develop a half-decent player, it'll be huge over thereThe Thorn wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 12:34 amPDC only care about their shiny shiny gold. Embarrassingly, I made this post before I had any clue who Dmitrijs Žukovs was! A big step for Latvia in their bid to be seeded in the group stage, and a small step for France as Labre joins the rankings, no money for Tricole on the main OoM this season so far, but he has 6 PC events left and I think one more batch of ET qualifiersthegentle wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 10:40 am Can't find anything on the PDC website, but Wiki says the nations ranked 5-16 will be seeded in the group stages. Currently, the standings are like this:
England: Michael Smith (1) and Rob Cross (5)
Netherlands: MvG (3) and Noppy (8)
Wales: Price (4) and Clayton (7)
Scotland: Wright (2) and Gando (23)
Belgium: Dimi (10) and Kim (29)
Germany: Clemens (19) and Schindi (27)
Northern Ireland: Dolan (26) and Gurney (28)
Australia: Heta (17) and Whitlock (40)
Ireland: O'Connor (38) and Barry (42)
Austria: Suljovic (34) and RJR (54)
Poland: Ratajski (21) and Kciuk (79)
Canada: Jeff Smith (63) and Campbell (64)
Czechia: Gawlas (48) and Sedláček (102)
Spain: Justicia (78) and Martínez (89)
The rest have at most one tour card holder, the best of whom are Jose for Portugal at 15 and Razma for Latvia at 36. Although France don't have anyone on the rankings yet, of course Labre and Tricole are both safe on tour for the time being, as soon as they both secure a win, they will both be ranked.
We could also feasibly see a Dane, a Lithuanian or a Croatian come through their regional associate Euro Tour qualifiers to accompany Andersen, Labanauskas or Krčmar, which would give them a ranking and potentially push their nation into the top 16, but for now I think Portugal and France are in the box seat
