I’m not sure if it happens in WWE a lot, my guess is that it doesn’t
The main thing for me that is dead in modern wrestling is selling
On Dynamite this week, Will Osprey got thunder-cunted with a knee/kick to the face and he was fine about 5 seconds later
I’d like him even more if he just sold a few moves every now and then, so it’ll be interesting to see if he does against Danielson in a few weeks

The match itself would be great, not so sure about the build up because Mysterio isn’t exactly known for his promo ability
I've watched some of Angle's most touted WWF matches back recently. In some of them there was an excessive amount of finisher trading and some lax selling of big moves. Although my impression is that he got worse for that in TNA where he didn't have anyone to reign him in. Angle wasn't the first wrestler who had a tendency to trade finishers excessively or recover too quickly from big moves, but it does appear his work had an influence on the generation that followed him.

I watched a few Ospreay bouts out of interest a while back. They did very little for me.
I don’t think I’ve ever really noticed
I’ll have to go back and have a look and in his final run in 06 with WWE and then into TNA, he was collectively known as “Perc Angle”, which is why if you watch some of those TNA matches round that time, some of the shit he was doing on the shows, was because he was hyped up on painkillers

Osprey is good, really good, I thought he was going to massively overhyped, then I found myself very surprised at what he can do physically
Just wish he’d sell more, it’s not going to hurt. Fans have known for years that it’s all a work but that belief that it is still “real” needs to be maintained in the ring with selling every now and then

The aew fans love these 20 minute tv matches with 50 kick outs, not for me,, especially when it's a top star vs a jobber or mid carder.

Agreed, a lot of matches where it’s, say, John Moxley against Evan Bourne.
That shouldn’t be going anymore than 5 minutes

I watched the main event.

Rock can still play heel well.

But it was far too long and had way too much finishing trading for my tastes.

I didn't see the need for the undertaker either, he's had nothing to do with the Bloodline story.

I was referring to the Saturday main event :)

I will assume it was meant to be Austin instead of Taker who got rid of Rock during Sunday's main event, playing off Austin and Rock's old rivalry, but for some reason Austin couldn't make the show.

AEW showing the footage from All In with CM Punk and Jack Perry for a cheap ratings grab

Smells of WCW

Edge's promo last week was embarrassing too.

I only viewed it because I saw his name was trending and clicked to see why.
