I don't think I'd ever thought about that. I enjoyed watching them on Christmas Days at least. They were the only OFAH I saw 'live'.The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 4:35 pmThose final 3 episodes were an abomination. The fantastic oppotunity to end it as they walked off into the sunset, but oh no.Rogg wrote:Not a fan of "Gary" ginger? The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 3:46 pm Q: When should OFAH have concluded, in the mind of any sane person?
A: After the episode "Time On Our Hands", broadcast in 1996
End of quiz.
Btw, as I'm sure you're aware, Sullivan actually hedged his bets in the 1996 episode. The brothers didn't sell the flat at Nelson Mandela house in case they decided to bring the show back at a later date.
It's actually only 5 five years later that the show comes back but it seems like much longer for some reason. There's four years between the two series of Fawlty Towers.
