Other than Gulliver being a waste of a pick, they got lucky and she gave a good showing, and they had the trophy stuff afterwards. Next year they likely have neither of those things if they pick her again.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

They want a woman in this event and Trina is the only one who has played in all of them so far

I assume/Guess the criteria as this for 2024

- World Champion (Robert Thornton)
- Champion of Champions (Leonard Gates)
- World Matchplay
- World Masters
- Highest Women
- Best from Rankings
- Best from Money List
- Wildcard

Ashton should be given a chance. She could batter a lot of the fodder they serve up.

Cheers Chris

Gates won it with averages of 89, 91 and 91 then. In this field that more often than not gets you good results. But it doesn't seem like there is much of a gulf between the top 4 here. All in all it was a competitive and enjoyable event from what I have seen.

Trina averaging more than Painter was not on my bingo card. Fair play to her.

Maybe Gates + 7 qualifiers for the next one, then.

Strangely, the matches were also scored on the Sportradar live scoring site, with somewhat different averages.

Can't say I'm bothered enough to find out the source of the discrepancies.

I've seen one tournament show the average of the leg averages instead of running average.

On Friday I checked out the prices. Saturday was sold out! For the promoter that's what they want. You can't argue with it.

Not only a great read, it was another most profitable seniors event.
Friday 19th May 2023 - Finally free of the bull shitting no mark of a dart player.

Suspect team: CT1 Filip Sebesta - Greg Ritchie - Jeroen Mioch - CT2 Sean Fisher - Charlie Martin - CT3 Owen Bates - CT4 Thibault Tricole
