Is this a replacement for the Devon Petersen qualifier?
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Yes I believe its played in a league format all year then the top so many get to play in Qualifier for the Worlds at the end of the year.

I believe this will be used for the World Cup place aswell.

Most countries/Regions should have a series rather then a qualifier

Fair fucks to the Africans. They’re trying to develop some level of professionalism for themselves. Devon is massively involved in that. He might be shite now but he’s a really good bloke. Doesn’t seem like any egos involved with this. Imagine if they can expand out of South Africa into the rest of Africa. I know there’s a very minor scene in Kenya/Uganda. Maybe this is the start

In an ideal world yeah. It’d kinda be mental to send South Africans on a yearly tour across the country when they’re not even getting paid for winning events. One off events will suit the majority of regions for at least the next 15/20 years unless something massively blows up and changes it

In regions like Africa and South America you would be right especially with the huge distances over the continents
