Very good player Kovács on the floor I would back him against a lot of tour card holders. If he can do the same on stage he will be top 96 player in no time

Booo. But it's early days for this, so maybe next year.
This is a silver grade ranking event. There is an argument that dartconnect coverage should be a basic requirement.

When the English can’t be arsed it’s tough to expect Egypt to bother as well, could honestly be a game changer for the WDF if all tournaments were on dart connect

It’s hard to have any interest in a tour when you’re having to scramble around on the internet in the hope 1 person has took a photo of a piece of paper showing the results, dart connect makes it much more accessible and at least allows an opportunity to follow what’s going on on the tour, who’s playing well etc

Enough to be worthwhile. If you wanna charge people to go to lakeside at the end of the year it’d at least be nice to know who you’re paying to go and see and what they can do. If countries like Malta can use dart connect England have no excuse really

I doubt it would sell many additional tickets for Lakeside.

Other than the most hardcore of darts fans, nobody wants to sit around following Darts Connect, especially to follow the amateur game.

We criticise the WDF for failing to improve the product and yet you’re trying to say this improvement would be pointless. As the WDF still exists they might as well try and get the best out of it. The main thing is to improve their non existent marketing and advertising but dart connect would be a good touch as well

I agree it would be useful for existing fans. I just don't think it would be a "game changer" or sell many additional tickets for Lakeside.

I don't think the WDF can do that much to grow their product. I don't think the market is there for their product. What they can do run is things more efficiently and sensibly.

Worth mentioning too the value of dartconnect to the players themselves. It takes away the mystery of where you stand in the context of the world game and how/if you are developing and what you might want to consider next.

Thanks to dartconnect we know that you need something like a 92 average to sustain a tour card in the pro game, and there are various other landmark numbers too going up and down the scale. So yes it is much more than a tool for fans.
