There is an edition of a KUA podcast where they visit the locations where the show was filmed: https://podbay.fm/p/keeping-up-appearan ... 1695206700

I found it hilarious but I don't know about anyone else.
I quite liked watching it when I was a kid.

Fuck knows if it's aged well or not.

I would say that it has
Aside from Mrs Bucket using a landline to speak to her son and some of the cars they use, I would say it hasn’t aged that badly at all

The world of the show is comfortingly low tech I find. Some nice shots of 90s high streets too with actual shops.

Massive National Lottery signs outside newsagents. Cafes where everyone agrees on what coffee means. Radio Rentals anyone?

Nothing has really changed by me since the 90’s where they filmed
The aforementioned Dominos Pizza on my previous post used to be a cafe/sandwich shop when I was a kid

I had a Mr Blobby toy doll thing. How, I can't remember. Absolutely vile little prick it was that probably came to life at night to open portals.

There were sweets with Mr Blobby's likeness that were lovely.

Other than that all I recall about him was that daft song and the theme park that went bust.

I went to that theme park! It was in the grounds of the house where To The Manor Born was filmed. I don't remember much about it apart from there being a dalek. Not sure how that related to Mr Blobby. It was open from 94-97 apparently.

Ha.

After checking there were apparently three versions of the park in three different locations. The longest lasted two years (94-96). The final version opened in 1996 and closed in 1997.
