I've never seen FND but I like this list. I didn't know you were an Office US fan, marvellous. Have you watched it all the way through?
Give FND a go.
It was actually my Dad who told me to watch it.
Took me a while to get into it but it’s a good watch. :D

That could work out. I do like Tamsin Greig. I don't think anyone has mentioned Black Books yet. That was a fun one.

Haven’t watched series for at least 5 years.

Before that: Bottom. The rest is forgettable.

I quite like it! Nothing to be ashamed about (until everyone says otherwise)... there's just something about smut by the 90s which is a bit eugh.

I liked season 1 of Veep and may watch some more some time. It is the US adaptation of The Thick of It, for those curious.
The Vice-President is Julia Louis-Dreyfus who was the bird in Seinfeld.

5. Goodnight Sweetheart (Very underrated)
6. The Royle Family
7. One Foot In The Grave
8. Dads Army
9. Steptoe & Son
10. The Brittas Empire

Special mentions to

Vicar Of Dibley
Keeping up appearances
Bottom

Porridge
Open all hours
Thin blue line

----

Auf Wiedersen Pet isn't a sitcom it's a drama the same as Upstairs Downstairs and Heartbeat. Again I love them (Heartbeat once Nick leaves is terrible)

The Fast Show, League of Gentlemen and Harry Enfield are sketch shows to me not sitcoms but are superb

Simpsons (upto series 12) and Futurama are unreal but are cartoons

The Inbetweeners
The Royle Family
Gavin and Stacey
Phoenix Nights
The Simpsons if we’re counting it

Probably forgetting something amazing
