Mason gets a few mentions in that book by a journalist who followed Lloydy around on the PDC tour around 2000.
Mason was mocking the journalist. He decided that he'd call him gay or something. It didn't make much sense. I remember Mason and Baxter coming across badly in the book.

It's because the late 90s and early 2000s was the era where I first started watching PDC darts. Therefore, I will always have a soft spot for it and its players.
Likewise, in 10-15 years time, newer fans will wonder why you have such a hard-on for Bunting, why Malt is fixated with Andy Boulton, and why DFR has a crush on James Wilson.
