It’s his job to commentate on the matches though. Nicho gets slated for talking bollocks, don’t mind a bit of off topic stuff but he’s just spending 3/4s of the day biting to people on the chat about irrelevant shit

Nicholson is perfect for Modus.

There are so many games that his irrelevant gibberish can be an escape from the odd total dross.

I will give you half a point. Everyone would struggle talking about the action in Modus for 4 hours straight. But Nicho is just irritating as a person so his attempts usually don't come across well. Edgar Duzza Murphy and Deacon all better

Nicho fannies around when commentating on Modus for the same reason he did when commentating on the BDO during it's later years.

Put simply, he can get away with it. ITV or Sky would rein him in if he started banging on too much about Barney liking Ace Ventura or John Henderson entering the Royal Rumble.

Edgar is good as a pundit and his videos are great, but as a commentator, he's pretty crap imo. Just stops talking and creates 30 second awkward silences.

Deacon is good at presenting but as a commentator he shouts too much.

Murphy and Durrant are the best. Mitchell is pretty good too.

Will say this- Deacon, Edgar, Nicholson and Durrant are all top experts. Pyke, Studd, Rawling, et al should take notes.

Table tells one story, but the numbers wouldn't suggest they are 'miles better' than Atkins
