Kovács vs Takács just started, battle of the Lakeshite big guns.

*At least I've received a notification of this from dartconnect but it seems they aren't playing yet.

Kovács averaged only once under 86 today. Very impressive.

Jagicza and Kovács clearly dominating the tour, I really hope these two will be at the world cup.

Lakatos flounced from the tour, so he will be eliminated and won't be in this next year, which means he can only be in the world cup next year if he wins tour card. He seems to be finished at the moment.

Typical Hungarian behaviour. He needs a slap.

Strbik playing shite, he even managed to lose to Balló with a sub 60 avg, fucking hell... Végső isn't good enough too, he's yet to average over a fucking 80. Young Sárai had promising games but he's too inconsistent. He was the only one who defeated Kovács yesterday.

I wonder when will the PDC Hungarian Fan Club refresh the standings, the second group stage has already concluded.

Standings refreshed finally...

Draw off the playoff:

Kovács Patrik (1) - Major Nándor (8)
Strbik Péter (4) - Prés Nándor (5)
Jagicza Gábor (2) - Végső János (7)
Papp Rajmund (3) - Sárai Levente (6)

Hard draw for both Kovács and Jagicza against the 9 dart hero major and the most experienced PDC player Végső. Darts commentator and former ET scoring official Vereczkey hasn't been eliminated, very nice. Unlucky Székely, he literally destroyed group B, only lost 1 match. He had a surgery during the first group stage, that's why he missed a lot of matches.

Englishman Darren Penhall is going to qualify for the Worlds through Australia because most of the good players have fucked it off

This is why.

Madness didn’t realise it was that bad. ADC netting the Oceania top players is a coup

I presume GGM hasn't played the full tour as you'd assume he'd be ahead of Penhall if he got to play the whole thing

Apropos the last couple of posts - the DPA have added a tournament weekend near Melbourne now for late April. I don't quite know why JJ Idsardi ever thought the DPA was among the most respected PDC affiliates - sure it's always had the best prospects for the PDC's proper tour, but anyone that's followed their website and socials for any length of time knows that the DPA is BDO-esque amateurish behind the scenes. Won't stop any players not named Raymond or Ky Smith from showing up to its events, though.

Anyway, the DPNZ tour is in action this weekend. Event 3 started an hour ago: https://tv.dartconnect.com/event/dpnzpt23e03/matches

Event 4 tomorrow from 8:30pm UK time: https://tv.dartconnect.com/event/dpnzpt23e04/matches

Very good. It can only benefit darts should it reach more countries!
