Re: Is Michael van Gerwen finished?
Is he going to be world number one again? Is he going to win a World Championship again? Or is he fucked?
I am expecting a 5 paragraph answer.

Re: Is Michael van Gerwen finished?
I don't think he'll be world number 1 again, but it's possible if he can win a few TV tournaments in a row with great consistent darts and get the old confidence and fear factor back. Will he win another World Championship? Probably yes. He's only fucked if he starts sliding down the rankings to the extent of going out of the top 16, top 32, top 64.
No 5 paragraph answer. Sorry.

You could have just copied and pasted that paragraph 4 more times. I wouldn't have read it anyway.PT13 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 11:07 pmI don't think he'll be world number 1 again, but it's possible if he can win a few TV tournaments in a row with great consistent darts and get the old confidence and fear factor back. He could play with eyes shut n stay in the top 16 no chance he slips he's seen called shit for about 2 years n he's still top 3 he's in a weird place at the moment where he can hit an out of this world A game like beating price last month n setting the grand slam record this week but also weirdly vulnerable n prone to the odd bad match. Weird seeing him without that reliablilty. Id say he's more likely to win the worlds than he is to win a few TV tournaments in a row.

Re: Is Michael van Gerwen finished?
Bit lacking in confidence, Tired with travel and his kids, Not been able to practice as much which led to his bad run.....Could be anything but he looks to be on the up again so whatever it was he has obviously addressed it or is addressing it, No doubt in my mind that he will win many more majors before he calls it a day.Malanax wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 3:06 amPT13 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 11:07 pmI don't think he'll be world number 1 again, but it's possible if he can win a few TV tournaments in a row with great consistent darts and get the old confidence and fear factor back. Re: Is Michael van Gerwen finished?
Yeah I agree think it'll click soon like it used to for him and he'll win a major obviously it's pcf or worlds soonest, even every match he lost in the recent super series he averaged about 105 in the match/tournament while losing, he'll be confident he can play well and at for example the worlds someone like searle or Heta isn't gonna do the 106 to beat him because it's a while different situation.daveboygreen wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 3:10 amBit lacking in confidence, Tired with travel and his kids, Not been able to practice as much which led to his bad run.....Could be anything but he looks to be on the up again so whatever it was he has obviously addressed it or is addressing it, No doubt in my mind that he will win many more majors before he calls it a day.Malanax wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 3:06 amPT13 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 11:07 pmI don't think he'll be world number 1 again, but it's possible if he can win a few TV tournaments in a row with great consistent darts and get the old confidence and fear factor back.
