He's earned his spot, now he has a few months to actually start playing well

Cross is more like 80% at this point. Grand Slam, PCF and Worlds could easily have 3-4 new names pop up

Hmm. Depends on the Sky picks I suppose.

He's won a ranking tv event which immediately makes him the 6th most credible pick but if weird people win others then Sky could overlook the ITV events (including Wade if he ends up 5th).

Fallon Sherrock will be picked if she wins a tour card

Even if Wade is 5th I think he's a more likely pick than Cross who is likely to be outside the top 10.

Anderson, Dimitri and Jose are all in pretty rancid form. Wouldn't want to see them play 9 weeks on this form

I agree but kick and scream all you want, it's gonna happen.

Surely all but Thorn would even rather see a tearjerking return for a certain Doyen

I don’t mind Fallon.
But it would be ridiculous to give her a spot if she does win a card.

Do you think they’ll hold off on the picks until after Q-School?

I do hope they change the format of the Premier League as to me it has become a bit stale, Last one I think I watched the first 3 weeks and the finals night out of all of it, Would be better if it was extended to say 12 players or have 2 invited players each week as well as the 10 players to mix it up a bit.

I think they'll do the same as last year and name 9 after the World final.

Claim the Masters is a playoff but nobody will step up and Fallon gets the pick if she does well at Q-School.

It's ridiculous but it's an exhibition and it'll get blanket coverage

Which absolutely does nothing to mix it up. This is the same that has been going on with the contender thing you just add 2 more players

I’ll only agree to this if she makes it and Michael Smith doesn’t and he whinges again. :D

Your 100% right that adding 2 contenders each week will not mix it up
