Favourite book: The Stand.
Adaptation: Fire Starter (must be nostalgia, because a mediocre movie by all standards)

I have the 1419 page version of the standard
Absolutely love it but probably just prefer 11/22/63
Adaption wise I do enjoy needful things

Yeah, the long version is better. Same with It.

Must say I also quite liked the 1994 adaption of The Stand. It’s just that with such a great book, there miniseries was bound to disappoint to some extent.

Stopped reading King novels about 20 years ago, so I’m not familiar with the recent stuff. Think I’ve read just about everything up to Insomnia.

And I forget about The Tommyknockers. Great novel, shite adaptation.

I have that on my list since you’ve mentioned it a while ago.

Problem is I buy books at a higher rate than I can read them. About 30 at home I still have to read.

How much of a discount do you get on books?

Or do you just steal them like most of your customers?

I've reached the point where it turns out that the cat may not be dead after all. Do you remember its name?
