Yeah, the long version is better. Same with It.

Must say I also quite liked the 1994 adaption of The Stand. It’s just that with such a great book, there miniseries was bound to disappoint to some extent.

Fairytale was excellent but his Holly gibney fascination does little for me

Stopped reading King novels about 20 years ago, so I’m not familiar with the recent stuff. Think I’ve read just about everything up to Insomnia.

And I forget about The Tommyknockers. Great novel, shite adaptation.

I have that on my list since you’ve mentioned it a while ago.

Problem is I buy books at a higher rate than I can read them. About 30 at home I still have to read.
