I remember watching it as it aired. I hated it so much.

This was a project by US TV to reboot the show. They had a whole series mapped out. The movie was effectively a pilot but was not well received and nothing came of it.

One thing in favour of the dreaded Chinballs is that he never gave the Doctor a human mother. But gosh what a strong, brave woman of colour she would have been.
