Whenever I debate Scottish indy with someone I always seem to lose a few brain cells. Had a charming nat telling me that england will pay an indy scotlands pensions and that there will be no hard border with england. Also that setting up a new currency and central bank would be easy. FFS.

Re: Politics
I think id describe myself as a grumpy unionist. The nice bits of indy are nice, but the negatives are too strong. My mind isnt going to be changed when the SNP dodge duck and weave all the hard questions and the fanatical supporters come out with insane horseshit like the above. Also the SNPs corruption and super injunctions do not endear me to their cause. The Thorn wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 4:56 pmI take it you're against it then?Emulsfier wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 4:51 pm Whenever I debate Scottish indy with someone I always seem to lose a few brain cells. They might try some defacto ref rubbish in the future, which will achieve nothing.
Humza is a useless cunt. Been shit in health, transport and justice before this. Also an unfunny thin skinned muppet. Was still the best of the three candidates though. Forbes a tartan tory religious nutter, and Regan a conspiracy theorist nutcase.

Sturgeon railing against people gossiping about her private life, despite her having taken out a super injunction to suppress a story. Fuck off.

Re: Politics
Ive voted SNP, Labour, Green and Lib Dem over the last 10 years for various elections. Ive gone right off both indy parties for various reasons in the last few years, so I vote Lab in the first past the post elections and vote either Lab or LDs in the proportional ones, depends on who I like at the top of the lists.

It doesn't matter what you vote
85% of Europe is controlled by the same trust of firms
Which is ironically the biggest US Democrat party donor
