Ignoring the obvious trolling MvG v Bristow is a decent discussion. That said anyone who witnessed the pure outrageous confidence of Bristow at his peak would agree he'd pocket MvG without breaking sweat.

Adding a further point to the averages debate, John Walton achieved a higher tournament average at Lakeside 2001 than Bristow achieved in any of his five wins. Obviously John Walton is the household darting name of the two while Bristow is known only to people who follow darts regularly.
