Beterbiev reminds of Foreman in the way he punches. The short clubbing thudding ones that do damage.
Bivol v Beterbiev is a real 50/50 match up. Can’t wait for that one.

Bivol will probably have success countering Beterbiev when the latter overcommits. He'll also be difficult to pin against the ropes.

Still, I don't think he can hold off Beterbiev enough over 12 rounds.

Correct. Not enough firepower to keep the brute off him.

I agree with a lot of that. Smith made it easy for Beterbiev as he was staying in the ropes too much and getting pounded. Bivol will be moving around and I can see him frustrating Beterbiev. It’s if he can do it for 12 rounds.

This really sucks.

Fury's boxing career has been a joke over the past few years.

It's been 4 years since he's had a performance that's really wowed me.

I think Usyk beats him.

Fury's speed isn't what he once was and the style match up suits Usyk imo.

Inb4 HJ white-knights for Fury.

If Fury has anything left it’s a comfortable win for him.
Shame about the injury, but he can hardly fight with an eye like that.

It isn't though is it?

Usyk has superior speed, superior skill, better cardio, and more than capable of defending in the clinch. Usyk is also a southpaw, which Fury has had difficulty with in the past (Wallin bout)

Fury will therefore find it difficult to walk/pin him down, difficult to mount offence, difficult to rough him up on the inside, etc.

‘Subjective’
Fury will maul him, roughhouse him and aim for Usyks body. Usyk also marks up bad. Look at the first AJ fight. AJ barely hit him yet Usyk was badly marked up. I can see Fury using all means possible to grind an ugly win.

Usyk has a great chin and is very durable. And again, he's very good at defending in the clinch and breaking them. He's probably a better grappler than Fury.

AJ did hurt Usyk to the body in their rematch, but recovered well.

At this stage of their careers, the most likely outcome is Usyk keeping Fury on the move with his speed and footwork, being difficult to predict with his feints, and coming on strong late as Fury tires. And therefore winning a competitive decision.

Fury's best hope is to punch with Usyk/catch Usyk while he's exiting exchanges (see Joshua and Briedis bouts), but I don't think he can do that often enough.
