But Frasier was great in its pomp.
It'd be tough to reboot Family Guy, mate. Still going strong.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 10:38 pm I wouldn't mind if it was a show that was always average or crap like Friends or Family Guy. In fact, I'd love it if Friends was rebooted and bombed.

Us comedy has never interested meCaptain Hobo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 6:15 amFrasier?
Start at the start then. Better than most shows made since.
Frasier may have been past his best in its later seasons, but it was always a very good comedy. It was never average, let alone shite.Captain Hobo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 6:10 am

I will watch the Frasier reboot. Of course it won't be as good as the original, but I think having new supporting cast gives it a chance to be OK.
And even if it's absolutely terrible, it doesn't take anything away from the original series.
That is selling it short. Granted, I haven't re-watched it in years, but my memory of it is that of one of the greatest shows ever produced.Captain Hobo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 6:15 amFrasier?

I used to think that way about shows I liked, but so many have been rebooted now and while they're mostly rubbish, I don't see the reboots as taking anything away from the original shows.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 11:07 amFrasier may have been past his best in its later seasons, but it was always a very good comedy. I don't want to experience crap Frasier. Same as I am thankful I never experienced crap Seinfeld or Father Ted.
I can't wait for Last of Summer's Wine to be rebooted with Randall and MH.Captain Hobo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 11:33 am I used to think that way about shows I liked, but so many have been rebooted now and while they're mostly rubbish, I don't see the reboots as taking anything away from the original shows.
