You only have to look at Michael van Gerwen after he joined the PDC. He went from being one of the best players in the world, though very inexperienced and only 17 at that time, to the less glamourous floor events on the PDC Pro Tour. That inexperience was a serious weakness, and he had the confidence slowly beaten out of him and he failed to find a big win that would get him started. I know he later became the best in the world, but he could just as easily have disappeared altogether.

taylor vs cadby semi-final antics -
dicking around with somebody else's equipment (darts stuff, towel, chalk, water glass etc.) on the players table
during a match should be taboo. It's one thing to be nice and pour water for an opponent. It's another thing to be
allowed to fuck with an opponent's shit.

I really didn't miss MVG this weekend.

Probably my favourite World Series event so far. I hope Cadby and Anderson kick on from here.

just as in his previous matches, cadby had a towel he uses to wipe down his hands, darts and face with.
taylor, along with other shit he pulled, took cadby's towel and threw it on the floor. he also threw it to someone at the front of the stage.
he also wiped his own face with it (mocking cadby) and pretended to wipe his ass with it.

you come onstage with the expectation of privacy for your own stuff.
mental gamesmanship can be dealt with, but this was physical gamesmanship and taylor should be fined. seriously.

He did it to Wade a few years ago as well - took the flights off the darts case on the table and threw them to the crowd mid game. Wade ended up having to ask for them back.
On the other hand, all that shoulder twitching was quite funny. You would think Cadby would be used to the heat being from Australia. It should be Taylor struggling with it, not him

He's from Tasmania, not the mainland. And he is a fat boy.

Regarding the Taylor antics, I have often wondered why they don't have 2 tables on stage. Maybe they could introduce that.

The game really had the feel of an exhibition, no sense it was being taken seriously by Taylor from about 6-6.
You expect Cadby to behave like a dick.
Taylor totally lost the plot and his concentration and game with it.

I'd say Cadbury is about 19 stone.

Funny how he wound Taylor up so much, acts like a big kid Taylor when he's losing. It's embarrassing!!

He wasn't actually losing when he really lost the plot.
Bizarre behaviour.

Maybe he wanted Cadbury to roll over because it was his birthday and he's Phil Taylor
