Sounds good to me, I actually forgot about Andy Boulton, Jim McEwan and John Henderson :O.DeepFriedRat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 12:07 amHendo- likelyScottish Squidster wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 11:56 pm Hopefully Nathan Girvan gives it another shot because he was very close last year.
Also I see Gary Stone won convincingly today and stated that he's ready to win the title at the lakeside due to current form so he may well have a chance this year.
Finally I doubt Shaun MacDonald Or the boy Barili will be going if their results are lakeside are any sort of marker as to where they are at just now!
So at the moment I would say that only Gary Stone and perhaps Nathan Girvan will be Scotland's best chance of getting a tour card, would you guys agree or am I doing other Scots a disservice?
Boulton- likely
McEwan- possible if he commits
Borland- possible
Montgomery- unlikely to get it back
J Clark- jobber, no chance of getting it back
Stone- possible
Girvan- unlikely
McDonald- won't go to QS as he's very high in his company
Ryan Murray- used to be decent but totally disappeared
Beveridge- totally disappeared, doesn't even play Modus

Well no Lakeside title for Gary Stone or any other Scot so maybe he is being optimistic thinking he has a chance at Q School or am I being too harsh on him and instead it was that his opponent played very well?

Which is a shame as he is a decent player and a good lad. Certainly played his part in that enjoyable Buttons match.TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 12:51 am

The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.
