I have faith in De Zwaan, he is only 21. He appears mentally weak, but who isn't at that age. Time will tell if he can "mature".

Other than him and noppie the euro qualifiers seem bang average. Dvd will never be good enough, neither will davy van baelen or marijonovic ffs

Think Duijvenbode has a chance as well. He and De Zwaan both have the game, just have to get accustomed to playing the pro tour, week in week out, and keep their confidence even if they're losing. It's a long learning curve in darts, you get the likes of Cross once in a lifetime but other than that, it might take decades to reach your prime.

I doubt he's in the UK Open already, that was just a match he won. Find it unlikely that the opponent in the qualifying final would average 51.

O'Shea was doing okay at BDO events at the tail-end of last year. I could see him qualifying for Lakeside. Hughes and Menzies were seeded 3rd and 8th respectively for Lakeside last year; neither have won a tour card.

Totally disagree Thorn. Each player gets four chances and an OOM to get a card. There's no such thing as being too good to fail, if they fail they simply aint good enough

Any player who plays Q School in 2018 who played Lakeside 2018 makes themself ineligible for Lakeside 2019.

It's why Lisa Ashton changed her mind about going.
