Will be doing my Christmas cheese shopping after the weekend, I usually like to have 5 or 6 decent cheeses in over the festive period, Any suggestions for something new I could try?

I would recommend going to a nearby deli or even a specialist cheese shop if there are any nearby to where you live. If you like cheddars, try a local variety, same with blue cheese etc.

Blue cheese I don't like, We have a couple of places nearby, One is vastly expensive but will allow you to try a cheese before buying and we tend to get a couple of different or new ones anytime we go there but in recent times its just been the same old and nothing new or different.

Had Brie, Comte, Cantal and some Saint Augur with fresh bread last night. Lovely.

Bagged a bargain yesterday. French/Belgian cheese board of 5 cheeses for 2 Euros reduced from 7. With a quince jelly.
